Giulia Zanini, PhD

Giulia Zanini received her PhD in Physics in 2019 from University of Genoa (Italy) with a thesis on super-resolution label-free optical microscopy, performed under the supervision on Prof. Alberto Diaspro in the Nanoscopy group at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). Prior to this, she received her Master degree in Physics from University of Trento (Italy) with a thesis on two-photon microscopy for skin tumor diagnosis. Her main expertise is in non-linear optics and in optical microscope design and development, and her main research activity is now focused on stimulated Brillouin scattering microscopy.
